This page explains how to request deletion of your Unlokie account and what happens after your request.
1. Request Deletion In The App
Unlokie offers in-app account deletion. If you can access the app, use the account deletion option inside the Unlokie app to submit your request.
2. If You Cannot Access The App
If you cannot access the app, email support@unlokie.com with the subject line Account Deletion Request from the email address linked to your account, if possible.
3. What Happens After A Request
After a deletion request is accepted:
- your access to the account is revoked immediately;
- final deletion is not instant;
- your personal data is deleted or irreversibly anonymized within 30 days of the request.
Some requests may require issue resolution before deletion can be completed, for example if there is:
- an active rental or session;
- an unresolved return issue;
- an unresolved payment or recovery obligation.
4. What We Delete
We delete or irreversibly anonymize personal data associated with your Unlokie account when it is no longer needed for legal or operational reasons. This can include:
- account profile details;
- sign-in and account identifiers;
- contact details linked to the account;
- app usage, session, and support records that do not need to be retained.
5. What We May Retain
We may keep limited records where needed for legal or operational obligations, including:
- payments and accounting records;
- fraud prevention and security records;
- disputes, chargebacks, and legal compliance records.
These retained records are kept only for those limited purposes, not for ongoing account use.
